Reconversion in a apartment of a precision tools factory in Carouge abandoned since years.
Preservation of industrial heritage elements from the beginning of the 20th century.
The reinforced concrete factory in the protected area of the “Vieux Carouge” required an special attention that the reconversion could be usable as a place to live.
The construction of a new concrete building on the side wall of the factory comes as a addition of some existing warehouses in the bottom of the area.
This project has been mentioned as a reconversion reference by the Heritage Council from the City of Geneva in 2012.
